How I Work

My clients seek furniture that complements their home decor and fits its purpose. They like to be involved in the design process and sometimes visit the workshop to see work in progress.

I first prepare a design proposal that includes drawings and a cost estimate. This is at no obligation. It often involves a visit to the client’s home to see where the furniture piece will be placed.

If the client wishes to proceed, we work out the finer points and a delivery date in a detailed written proposal, and agree a total cost and payment schedule.

I usually ask for a 30% deposit just before starting construction, with the remainder payable on delivery. However, I have sometimes accepted stage payments over a period of months.
