I share a concern of many furniture makers to make the best possible use of materials and the environment. I use timbers from sustainable sources certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or Forests Forever, and local timbers from known sources (via links with Sheffield City Council Parks Woodlands & Countryside and South Yorkshire Forest Partnership).
